OUR CONCEPT
We believe that perfect food is created from the simplicity of flavours.
We start with the ingredients and the people who grow them with the best care. Nature sets the direction and we decided to listen and follow up with dedicated work and eye for detail. The majority of our dishes are based on Czech traditions, we prioritise local ingredients and cook what we love and also what we believe in.
It is not just about food. It is about peace, truth and the certainty that everything we pay attention to and strive for has its meaning.
UNESCO
In the heart of the Lednice-Valtice Area, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, stands the Border Chateau on the shore of a pond, a silent reminder of the former border between Moravia and Lower Austria.
The former summer residence of the Liechtensteins continues today with the previous mission from this dynasty: to bring peace, elegance and an extraordinary experience through tasting fine dining meals.
MENU
Our restaurant offers a multi-course tasting dinner, based on seasonal and top-quality ingredients.
The dinner is gently spread over time and usually lasts around three hours.
The menu remains hidden until the end. We want each course to speak for itself without expectations, only through taste and experience.
Our concept is based on Czech cuisine, which is strongly associated with gluten, lactose and proteins. If you have a serious allergy, please let us know when making a booking - we will try to find a suitable solution. At the same time, it is important for us to preserve the essence of each course, so we only make adjustments if they do not interfere with the very character of the menu.
